Glass serving jug from the Rosenthal Model 20/200 series, designed by Hans Theo Baumann in 1966. Blown glass with a clean cylindrical body, angled pour spout, and a simple handle that integrates without interrupting the line. The proportions are considered — large enough to be useful, not so large it dominates.
Hans Theo Baumann (1924–2016) was a Swiss-born industrial designer whose work spanned ceramics, glass, and furniture across a forty-year career. His Model 20/200 series for Rosenthal entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York — one of the few mid-century German glass series to be acquired by MoMA. Rosenthal, founded in Bavaria in 1879, became one of Europe's most significant design-led manufacturers through the postwar decades, commissioning designers including Tapio Wirkkala, Walter Gropius, and Baumann himself.

Care Instructions
- Hand wash recommended — the handle join is a stress point in dishwashers
- Use a long-handled brush for the interior — avoid forcing a cloth through the neck
- Rinse thoroughly — glass retains odour from wine or juice if not fully cleaned
- Store upright only — do not invert while wet, as moisture collects at the base of the neck
