A room changes when the overhead light goes off. Candle holders in crystal, brass and pewter throw light differently to glass — heavier, warmer, with the shadow held close to the table. It is the quietest way we know to end a day.

The holders come from European makers, new and Pre-Loved side by side: modernist forms from the middle of the last century, cut crystal, hand-finished pewter, and new pieces from workshops still casting by hand. The candles are made in Europe — unscented taper candles for the table, scented pillars for the room.
