Three pieces in silver plate with a ribbed handle detail running the length of each. The set covers the board: one knife for soft cheese, one for hard, and a fork for picking and serving. The ribbing gives grip and breaks the light along the handles.

Ribbed silver-plate cheese sets of this kind were widely produced through the late twentieth century for the everyday table. Made to be used rather than displayed, they pair functional form with the soft shine of plate over a steel core.
