A Cristal de Sèvres jug that carries its heritage in the glass itself — signed at the base, made in France, the weight and clarity of a house that understood what crystal was for.

Clear crystal serving jug with a clean, vertical body. The form is mid-century in character — close in spirit to the Saint Louis Jersey design, with that same considered relationship between the vertical line and the curve of the body. Signed on the base. Top diameter 14 cm, height 20 cm, width 20 cm, base diameter 7.5 cm, weight 2 kg. Microscratches on the base consistent with age — no chipping anywhere on the rim, spout, or body.

Cristalleries de Sèvres was a French crystal house with roots in the tradition of French decorative glassmaking. Producing from the mid-twentieth century through the late 1980s, the house made pieces for export and the domestic luxury market, signing its work and maintaining quality standards that placed it alongside the better-known grandes maisons. The brand ceased production in the early 1990s, making signed pieces the definitive record of the house's output.
