Rattan Basket | Woven Handle · Italy

Item Type: Pre-Loved

A basket that belongs at the door or beside the sofa, the kind of thing you reach for without thinking, and that makes a room feel considered rather than arranged.

Woven rattan with a shaped handle, constructed to carry weight without losing its form. The natural texture sits equally well against plaster walls and warm wood floors. A practical object that earns its place in a room on its own terms.

A rattan woven basket with shaped carrying handle, made in Italy in the 1970s. Italian craft in natural materials from this period is grounded in a long tradition of quality domestic weaving that valued both function and form.
