Glazed white Bavarian porcelain with a wide, clean rim. The food surface measures 14 cm — focused and uncluttered. No pattern, no decoration: the form relies entirely on the quality of the material and the precision of the glaze. The rim holds weight without bulk. The finish is bright and even throughout.

Hutschenreuther was founded in Hohenberg an der Eger, Bavaria, in 1814 — one of the great Bavarian porcelain houses, built on the region's kaolin-rich clay tradition. The house became part of the Rosenthal group and later the Sambonet Paderno Industrie portfolio, but production heritage and the Bavarian Porcelain standard it represents remain the defining mark of these pieces. This pair dates to the 2000s, from the final years of the Hutschenreuther name in active production.
