Texture Naturali

Texture Naturali è la casa mediterranea, raccolta: il rattan intrecciato in ceste, il lino lavato fino alla morbidezza, l'argilla tornita nelle botteghe italiane, l'alabastro tagliato nella pietra toscana, l'oliva spremuta per la pelle tanto quanto per la tavola.

Un modo di vivere si riconosce da ciò che una casa conserva. Il rattan va dalle ceste da mercato toscane a uno scolapasta italiano degli anni '60 e a una serie di vassoi da parete degli anni '70 — fatti per essere portati, riempiti, usati. Il lino spazia dai servizi da tavola Feelum lavati alle lenzuola francesi antiche che portano ancora i monogrammi delle case a cui sono appartenute. Le ceramiche sono Laveno, Fontebasso, Schönwald: gres e porcellana costruiti per il servizio quotidiano, accanto a un'anfora in terracotta e a un vaso da conserva smaltato dell'Ottocento.

I pezzi da portata in madreperla e metallo argentato affiancano vassoi e portasaponi in alabastro, freschi al tatto e discretamente solidi. La skincare Oliveta di Rowse chiude il cerchio — seme e olio d'oliva, gli stessi oliveti, lavorati per il corpo.

Sono gli oggetti dei pranzi lunghi e delle stanze fresche, di una tavola apparecchiata senza cerimonia e di una mensola che si riempie negli anni. La maggior parte è pre-loved. Tutto è europeo. Ogni pezzo porta i segni della mano che l'ha fatto e degli anni che ha già servito.
