Rosenthal · Baumann 1966 Glassware
A glassware series designed in 1966 and acquired the same year by the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Five pieces — beer glass, white wine glass, red wine glass, liqueur glass, and serving jug — each sharing the same vocabulary: a weighted base, a clean cylindrical body, a waist that narrows just enough to hold well in the hand.
Hans Theo Baumann designed the Model 20/200 series for Rosenthal at a moment when German industrial design was redefining what everyday objects could be. The brief was functional glassware for the table. The result was a set precise enough to enter a museum collection and useful enough to have been on tables ever since.
These are Pre-Loved pieces in Very Good condition — sourced, checked, and offered here as a complete series or individually. Made in Germany.
