A wall light that changes a room by being in it — the kind of piece that reads as sculpture until you turn it on, and then does both things at once.

Formed in Murano Graniglia glass — a technique that suspends crushed coloured glass within the body of the piece, producing a gritty, mineral texture that catches and diffuses light rather than reflecting it cleanly. The leaf form tapers naturally to each point. Mounted on a polished gold-tone metal bracket. Attributed to Barovier — the piece shares the Graniglia technique and formal language of the house's 1970s production, though this attribution is not documented. Takes a single E14 bulb. At 35 × 16.5 × 9 cm, the right scale for a hallway, a bedroom wall, or a reading corner.

Barovier & Toso is among the oldest continuously operating glasshouses in Murano, with roots traceable to the 14th century. The Graniglia technique — crushed coloured glass suspended within the body of the piece — was among the textural innovations developed under Ercole Barovier, who led the house from 1936. Still active on the island today.
