Italian & French Home Linen — Bedding, Tablecloths & Throws

Home linen from the great textile traditions of Italy and France — for the bedroom, the table, and the quiet corners of the living room. Our collection brings together tablecloths, napkins and runners, bed linen and pillowcases, throws and blankets, in flax, cotton, cashmere and wool. New pieces sit alongside carefully chosen pre-loved and antique finds, so a contemporary European-flax tablecloth might share a shelf with a monogrammed antique linen bedsheet.

Woven in the Heart of Tuscany — and France

Italy and France have spun and woven cloth for centuries, and that heritage runs through this collection. Many of our new pieces are made in Tuscany, in the textile district around Prato and Quarrata that has produced fabric since the Middle Ages — garment-dyed for depth of colour, finished with stitched hems and soft fringes. Alongside them sit French linens and jacquards, including antique pieces carrying hand-worked monograms. It is the same instinct in both countries: natural fibres, made well, made to last.

Four Natural Fibres

Linen, woven from European flax, is cool, strong and softens with every wash — ideal for tablecloths, napkins and summer bedding. Cotton brings an easy, everyday softness for napkins, pillowcases and bedspreads. Cashmere and wool, woven in Italy, make throws and blankets that live on the sofa through the colder months. Each fibre is chosen for how it behaves and how it ages, not just how it looks on day one.

For the Bedroom, the Table and the Living Room

This is home linen for real life. Dress the table with a fringed linen tablecloth and matching napkins for an everyday meal or a full table of guests. Layer the bed with linen sheets and pillowcases that breathe through summer nights. Keep a cashmere-wool throw within reach of the sofa for the evenings that turn cold. Many pieces are deliberately versatile — a large linen-cotton throw works as a light summer bedspread, a sofa cover, or a cloth spread on the grass for a picnic.

Sustainable by Design

We choose natural fibres over synthetics, OEKO-TEX-certified finishing where we can, and plastic-free packaging throughout. New pieces are made in Europe; pre-loved pieces are given a second life rather than left behind. It is a quieter kind of luxury — buying well, once, and keeping it for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I wash linen tablecloths and napkins?
Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours, then iron while slightly damp for a crisp finish, or leave relaxed for a natural look. Linen softens and improves with every wash.

How do I care for a linen bed set or linen sheets?
Wash at 40°C with like colours and avoid harsh detergents. Linen bedding grows softer over time; line drying keeps the fibres at their best.

What size tablecloth do I need?
As a guide, a 150 × 180 cm cloth seats 4 to 6, 180 × 270 cm seats 6 to 8, and 180 × 320 cm seats 8 to 10. Allow a drop of around 20–30 cm over the table edge.

How do I look after a cashmere or wool throw?
Cold hand wash or a wool-cycle machine wash, reshape while damp, and dry flat away from direct heat. Fold rather than hang to keep the shape.

Linen or cotton — which should I choose?
Linen is cooler, more textured and more durable, ideal for tablecloths and summer bedding. Cotton is softer and more relaxed underhand, lovely for napkins, pillowcases and everyday use.
