19th century Tuscan Terracotta Jug

Item Type: Pre-Loved

A small jug that earns its place without asking for attention. Keep it on a kitchen windowsill, beside dried stems, or with a single branch cut from the garden.

Unglazed terracotta in a warm ochre that deepens in the light, with a hand-formed spout and two opposing loop handles. The clay is dense and well fired. At 20 cm tall, it suits a single stem or a small posy. Graded Good: fully intact, with the light wear of a piece well over a century old.

A Tuscan terracotta jug from the 19th century, shaped in the unglazed earthenware tradition the region has kept since the Etruscans. Pre-Loved, graded Good, and ready for another life in the home.
