Textures Naturelles

Textures Naturelles, c'est la maison méditerranéenne réunie : le rotin tressé en paniers, le lin lavé jusqu'à la souplesse, la terre tournée dans les ateliers italiens, l'albâtre taillé dans la pierre toscane, l'olive pressée pour la peau autant que pour la table.

Une manière de vivre se lit dans ce qu'une maison garde. Le rotin va des paniers de marché toscans à une passoire italienne des années 1960 et à une série de plateaux muraux des années 1970 — faits pour être portés, remplis, utilisés. Le lin s'étend des services de table Feelum lavés aux draps français anciens portant encore les monogrammes des maisons qui les ont possédés. Les céramiques sont Laveno, Fontebasso, Schönwald : grès et porcelaine conçus pour le service quotidien, aux côtés d'une amphore en terre cuite et d'un pot à conserve émaillé du XIXe siècle.

Les pièces de service en nacre et métal argenté côtoient les plateaux et porte-savons en albâtre, frais au toucher et discrètement substantiels. Les soins Oliveta de Rowse referment le cercle — pépin et huile d'olive, les mêmes oliveraies, travaillées pour le corps.

Ce sont les objets des longs déjeuners et des pièces fraîches, d'une table dressée sans cérémonie et d'une étagère qui se remplit au fil des années. La plupart sont pre-loved. Tous sont européens. Chaque pièce porte la marque de la main qui l'a faite et des années qu'elle a déjà servies.
